The CASI team developed a Framework for the Assessment and Management of Sustainable Innovation (CASI-F). Combining desk research, meetings and interviews with innovators we have successfully piloted CASI-F with 43 innovations. As a result of the pilot we identified almost 1,000 actions that would, on the one hand, help innovators progress their innovation and, on the other hand, help us finalise the CASI-F. The selected 43 cases consisted of 25 social innovations and 11 technological innovations. In addition 7 cases were considered as both social and technological innovations.
