The campeign ’Radelt zur Arbeit’ (Bike to work) aims to motivate workers to take their bikes to go to work and to contribute to increase the bicycle traffic amount in Austria. Participation in ’Radelt zur Arbeit’ is for free. The association ’Radlobby Austria’ conducts the campaign in 2014 for the 4th time in cooperation with the Federation and federal states. Through a website interested people can register and create teams or participate in teams of companies which already partake. Teams constist of two to four people who try to reach the goal to go at least half of their working days to work by bike.
Radelt zur Arbeit is an annual campaign, which ran for the fourth time in 2014. In 2013 for the first citizens of all nine Austrian federal states could participate (not just Vienna). Radelt zur Arbeit 2014 started on March 15th.

Organisational / Business model - Entititled to participate in the team sweepstake are: all workers of companies and municipalities. Motivate colleagues and craete teams including 2 to 4 people. People had to write the kilometers they went by bike in the month of May.

The campaign is supported by the ministry for worth living Austria, the mobility agency Vienna, federal state Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Carinthia, Burgenland and Styria in cooperation with Fahrradwettbewerb.at and Werradeltgewinnt.at.
