CFWI Horizon scanning HUB launched

We proudly announce the launch of the CfWI horizon scanning hub made for the Centre for Workforce Intelligence (CFWI) - www.horizonscanning.org.uk

The horizon scanning work at the CfWI is part of our wider programme to improve the quality of health and social care workforce intelligence in the UK. Horizon scanning sits alongside our work in scenario generation and workforce modelling, which together aim to make workforce planning better informed by long-term considerations.

Advertised in London and Leeds CFWI conferences, the portal has raised significant interest and is bound to be improved and further developed over the next year.

Futures Diamond has also supported the former Centre for Workforce Intelligence (CfWI) in the development of the first Horizon Scanning platform and iPad App in the world (back in 2011). The platform was publicly launched at CfWI's National Conference – Better workforce planning and improving people's lives – that took place in 2011 in two centres: London on 10 October and Leeds on 12 October. Over 300 delegates and guests gathered to discuss workforce planning around health and social care.
